Saturday at approximately 1:10 a.m., a 2006 Ford pickup was being driven on southbound SR-96 south of the Siskiyou and Humboldt County line, at a high rate of speed. Virgil Martin, age 25, of Orleans, was a pedestrian in the area. For unknown reasons, the Ford stuck Martin at a high rate of speed, causing fatal injuries to Martin. Read More →
