VOICES: Recreation Activities Update

Some of our short-term plans include a free football clinic featuring USC fullback Soma Vainuku which is tentatively set for May 30 and 31 as well as a basketball referee clinic which we are hoping to have sometime this month. We will also soon be holding movie nights on the big screen at the NF and there will be story telling nights featuring local elders as soon as the Youth Center opens. Read More →

VOICES: Hoopa Youth Cheer and Football

On Thursday February 20, 2014 Hoopa Youth Cheer and Football will be holding a very important meeting at the Hoopa Community Center on Loop Road at 7 PM. This is when we will be holding our annual elections. Up for grabs will be five board positions. This will include the president’s position, vice-president, a secretary/treasurer, cheer-coordinator, and two other board member positions. Anyone can be nominated by a current board member or a member at large provided they eventually pass a background check. Once all nominations are made at the meeting, our current membership will take a vote and elect new officers for 2014. Read More →
