Betty eventually moved to Lafayette, Indiana where she grew up on the family farm with her 15 brothers and sisters. In 1955, Betty graduated from nursing school. Edward M. Henderson, born October 18, 1961, in Hoopa, California passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at his home in Hoopa on January 1, 2014 at the age of 52. Ed was a member of the Hoopa Valley Tribe. Ed spent his youth and young adult years in the Sacramento area. He moved to Hoopa in the late 1950s to live and be with his ageing grandmother Clarissa Stone. In August of 1999 he became employed with the Hoopa Valley Tribe in the Plant Management Department as a maintenance/grounds keeper, where he was employed until his death. Read More →

My beloved brother Rodney Lowell Doolittle Sr., 38, of Hoopa, CA, laid to rest on December 18, 2013. Rodney was born on November 9, 1975 in San Jose, CA. He was extremely proud of his sons, Rodney and Emmanuel whom he spoke so proudly of often. Rodney was a very caring father, brother, uncle, and friend with an extremely large heart for his family and friends alike. Regardless of his own struggles, he never thought twice to give the very shirt off his back or to reach out and lend a helping hand when he saw another in need.
