Help promote environmental education and maintain stream enhancement structures that benefit salmon by volunteering on Saturday, Sept. 18. Trail restoration will begin at 10am at the Horse Linto Interpretive Trail, 7.7 miles northeast of Willow Creek. Volunteers are asked to bring water, gloves, and to dress in long sleeves and pants. Organizers of the Thomas Morton Memorial Scholarship Fund are hosting a Father’s Day weekend co-ed slow pitch softball and horseshoe tournament at Pooky’s Park in Hoopa on June 19 and 20. The softball tournament is expected to be an eight-team, double elimination tournament. The deadline to enter teams is scheduled for June 11 and the entry fee is $275 per team. Read More →
