Still Styling in Willow Creek

Hairdresser Tina Still set up shop next to Espresso & More in downtown Willow Creek a little over a year and a month ago.
“I’ve been doing hair here in town for 20 years – I worked with Carol Foster at Carol’s Country Curl for 19 years and then took the shop over and now I’ve been here a year as Still Styling,” Still said.
“I’m a people person,” Still said. “I love the people and I love doing hair.”
Traci Downs, a licensed manicurist, and Jennifer West-Juncan, a cosmetologist and certified message therapist, both work with Still.
A manicure will run $15, a pedicure $40, and gel polish is $28. Table massages are $50 for an hour and $75 for an hour-and-a-half.
West-Juncan said, “For a peaceful, quiet message, Mondays are the best day. I also do waxing; brow, facial, and leg waxing.”
“I’ve been doing message therapy since 2002,” West-Juncan said. “I was at Brenda’s Place, across the street, from 2003 until 2011.”
She was out of commission for two years after an accident left her with a broken arm and shoulder, before returning to work when Still Styling opened.
“The clients are the funnest part of my job; making people feel pretty or handsome and with message making them feel physically and emotionally better,” West-Juncan said, adding that she uses organic message oil and organic essential oils.
Marcy Parks wrote on Facebook, “I went and got a message from Jennifer West-Juncan. If you want to feel great, go see her for a message. I could not walk if it weren’t for her.”
Downs applied an acrylic pattern to a customer’s nails while she talked. “I started here, and I love it. I like the people that come in and the atmosphere of the shop. That makes all the difference in the world.”
Local resident Destinie Rose said, “They cut my hair and do my nails. They’re really friendly and nice and they’re always smiling.”
