Tribal Police Confiscate More Heroin in Hoopa
PRESS RELEASE, Hoopa Valley Tribal Police
On January 28, 2013 the Hoopa Valley Tribal Police Department ,with the assistance of the U.S. Forest Service, and the Humboldt County Drug Task Force, executed a search warrant at a residence on Tish Tang Rd in Hoopa.
During the Operation Officers located 19 grams of heroin and approximately $ 6500 in cash.
During the operation the following people were arrested 23-year- old Andrea Hunsucker for Health and Safety Code 11351 possession for sales, Health and Safety Code 11366.5 maintaining a residence for the sales of controlled substances, and Penal Code 273 a (a) child endangerment likely to produce great bodily harm.
Also arrested was 22-year-old Jason Sherman for Health and Safety Code 11350 Possession of heroin, and Penal Code 1203.2, probation violation.
An additional Suspect fled from the residence and is still outstanding. The suspect was identified as 24-year -old Jason Luther Payne described as a black, male adult, 5’7”, 185 pounds, black hair, and brown eyes.
Payne is wanted in connection to this case and has several outstanding warrants.
