Warrior Wrestlers Bring It

The Hoopa High wrestling team had a successful venture this weekend at the Holiday Bash hosted by Fort Bragg High School. Hoopa placed four wrestlers in the finals with two finishing first and two in second. Hoopa entered nine wrestlers and placed fourth out of nineteen teams in the team standings. Louis Cosce and J.T. McKnight placed first, Justin Colegrove and Robert Dorgan placed second, Wendall White and Tony Escalderon placed fifth. Louis Cosce also took home the upper weight MVP award. The Warriors hit the road in two weeks and travel to Lemoore, California to face some of the top rated wrestlers in the state.
