TWO RIVERS TRIBUNE
The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office recently posted an update on their search for Katherine “Kathy” Gillham, a 40-year-old Native American woman who’s been missing since June 11, 2012.
“Sheriff’s Office detectives continue to follow up on leads and consider this case a high priority,” a release from the Sheriff’s Office noted. “Her disappearance is considered suspicious and out of character.”
The Sheriff’s Office is asking citizens to be on the lookout for her vehicle and to call 911 if they see it. She is believed to have traveled State Route 199 from Grants Pass, Ore. To U.S. 101 to Big Lagoon. She was driving a 2004 Charcoal gray Mitsubishi Endeavor SUV with plate number 6UXE841.
Gillham is five foot, four inches, 200 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She left Grants Pass on June 11 at approximately 2am and failed to make it home. Law enforcement officers and volunteers searched the roadway by air and ground, but have not yet located Gillham or her vehicle.
