I am deeply disturbed by the murders of Dot Ulrich and Suzanne Seeman the two women who bacame victims of a lowlife coward who has an extensive criminal backround,Jason Warren. Some time ago this same man attacked my 20 yr old son with brass knuckles, it was reported to tribal police and they failed to contact him or any possible witnesses to the assault. I myself contacted tribal police and they assured me he had been arrested.Yet the very next day i witnessed him walking downtown Hoopa. They never followed up or through with any kind of report from my son or even asked if he wanted to press charges wich i was insisting he do because of the severity of injuries.I have no faith that hoopa tribal police can protect or serve our community, and hope they are feeling the weight of the mistake they made by not putting this man away before he killed two innocents. And my sincere condolences to both familys who have suffered a loss that didnt have to be. michellemelendy Hoopa CA.
