In Loving Memory: Dorothy Evelyn Ulrich
Dorothy Evelyn Ulrich, lovingly known as “Dot” was suddenly taken from family on September 27, 2012. She was 47.
She was a wife and mother of three. She was described by her own mother, Shirley, as a kind, loving, and trusting person, with “Betty Davis eyes”. She named her “Dorothy” because the name means ‘Gift from God.’ Dot was a “Daughter of 1812”.
Dot’s family was grown, and she was going to start accompanying her husband of 27 years on his long haul trucking trips. They were planning on travelling and enjoying the freedom of the road.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mercedes Gertrude and Clifford Hugh Hamblen; mother-in-law Joanne C. McInnerney Ulrich; grandparents-in-law Robert Gardner and Regina McInerney; uncles-in-law William, Daniel and Bob; auntie-in-law Henrietta and husband Andrew; great-grandparents-in-law Bonita and Henry Masten; and cousins Debra Super and John Lewis.
Dot is survived by her husband, Timothy Robert Ulrich SR; children Shane Connally Ulrich SR, Clifford Hugh Ulrich, and Timothy Robert Ulrich JR; Grandchildren Shane Connally Ulrich JR, Evelyn Ann Ulrich, Clarence Michael Ulrich, and Thomas Lawrance Ulrich; Mother Shirley Ann Ortega; Aunt Barbara Jean Elliott; Uncle Walter Earl Halley; Sister-in-law Maria Ulrich and partner Sheileah Dildine; Aunt Pat and James Thigpen; Cousins-in-law Emerald, Vi, Charlie, Jeremy, Daniel, and Bobby JR McInerney, Leroy, Tony, Gena, and Laurie Halbe, Juna Thigpen, Janice Billings, and David “Hootie” and Andrew III Lewis; multiple cousins and friends.
This loving woman will be missed by all her friends and family.
A Celebration of Life was held at 12:00 Noon, on Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Pookey’s Park, Hoopa, California.
