$1 Million Arrest Warrant for Homicide Suspects

A Humboldt County judge issued $1 million arrest warrants Tuesday for Samantha Kristen Machado, aka “Samantha Smoker,” 26, and Bruce Jason Stallings-Hunsucker, 36, both of Eureka. The suspects are believed to be involved in the fatal shooting of Darrell Hanger Sr. in Willow Creek last week.

Machado is described as 5 feet tall and 135 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, while Stallings-Hunsucker is described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 185 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Stallings-Hunsucker is also believed to have a serious gunshot wound to his arm and shoulder that requires medical attention, according to the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office. Both are thought to be in either Weitchpec or Eureka and are believed to be armed and dangerous.
